The Project
We were commissioned to supply an architectural design build package to transform a tired 3 bedroom bungalow in Brockham-Dorking Surrey into a modern large contemporary 5 bedroom dwelling.
The dwelling fell within an area of outstanding natural beauty that in turn meant that certain planning conditions had to be considered.
The first floor of the existing bungalow was removed making way for the proposed 2nd and 3rd floor additions.
Every effort was made to ensure the conversion was sustainable of which included thermafleece insulation as well as FSC timber / natural paints.
All the large bedrooms are fitted with separate en-suite bathrooms, the 3rd floor loft room was handed over to the children as a cinema / games room.
Continues moulded staircase was fitted throughout providing a link between floors.
