Project Overview
We were appointed to deliver a complete design, architectural, and build solution on the outskirts of Reigate, Surrey. This project involved transforming a tired detached bungalow into a bright, spacious four-bedroom family home.
The clients, with busy professional lives, wanted a trusted, all-in-one team to manage everything — from the initial architectural design service and planning permissions through to the final build and finishes. This meant they could focus on their day-to-day commitments while we managed the process from start to finish.
Architectural Design & Planning
As part of our in-house architectural design service, we created detailed 2D floor plans along with 3D rendered visuals. These allowed the clients to clearly visualise the proposed layout and make informed decisions, avoiding costly changes later in the process.
This was no minor renovation — we removed the entire first floor and roof, along with sections of the ground floor. As a result, the planning authority treated it as a new-build project, requiring additional submissions including Water Neutrality Statements as part of the planning application.

The redesigned ground floor was carefully planned through our architectural team to maximise space, light and functionality:

Large bi-folding doors in the kitchen open directly to the garden, creating an indoor-outdoor living space and filling the home with natural light.

Upstairs, the new layout offers:

- Two en-suite bathrooms
- A well-designed four-piece family bathroom
The proportions, flow and light were carefully considered during the architectural design stage, resulting in a home that is both functional and visually striking.
The Outcome
