The Project
The conversion and kitchen relocation from the rear elevation to the front elevation to a home in West Chiltington West Sussex.
The client wanted to enjoy the view of their garden while relaxing and not just when they were washing up that’s typical in a 1970 style house that normally consists of small isolated rooms.
The existing tired patio doors were taken out and a much larger opening was formed to accept aluminium powered coated sliding doors that created a perfect uninterrupted view of the garden.
The newly created space was then split into zones by the inclusion of furniture. The kitchen flowed to the breakfast area and then on to the snug.
Lighting was installed throughout which included ambient architectural and task lighting, the Lighting was used wisely to enable the zones to flow and work together.
Underfloor heating combined with a marble-tiled floor provided a seamless continuation.
